A shop for the other side of the day.
Verso Late Books is not a real business. It is a brand identity concept: a late-night bookshop invented so that a mark, a palette and a pattern could be tested against real things like a shopfront, a ticket and a feed.

Where
There is no address. Here is an imaginary map instead.
Why a late-night shop?
Because it hands a brand identity a built-in contrast: night and day, dark page and light page. The rest is rigour. One disc, one grid, one lamp.
Questions
Is this a real shop?
No. There is no shop, no stock and no checkout. It is a fictional concept built as a portfolio piece.
Are the books and events real?
No. Every title, author, blurb and event is invented, and covers are generated from the brand geometry.
Does it collect any data?
No. The reading list, theme choice and club card live in your browser’s localStorage only. There are no analytics, no cookies and no third-party requests.
Why is it open until 4 am?
Because the idea is the other side of the day. The status badge on every page is computed live from the hours and your clock.
